Evolution of a political meme:
First, there was Ryan Gosling, Tumblr (profanity in its real title). Not really political, just funny.
Which then led to the explosion of Ryan Gosling Tumblr sites.
...including Feminist Ryan Gosling, Tumblr.
Then there was Texts from Hillary, Tumblr.
Which sort of cemented the trend that Hillary has been redeemed after what happened to her reputation in the 2008 primaries. She is now officially cool again.
And now, with the advent of the Romney/Ryan campaign, there is an explosion of Paul Ryan tumblrs and there are two Paul Ryan Goslings - Tumblr and Twitter - two different groups, apparently.

Twitter is funnier, but both are pretty darn fun:
Hey girl, you look like a million bucks. It kind of makes me want to grab my bow and arrow.
Then there's the pro-choice version, ChooseRyanLoseChoice, tumblr. This site apparently sent a plane over an actual Paul Ryan rally.
This may be the original, it's more straightforward "Paul Ryan as sexy," which makes me think of it as a conservative version.
And how you know the trend has gone too far? Ron Paul Ryan Gosling.
